Our theme for INVOLVE 2020 juts got released today!

Our Waka, New Seas
It’s two parts with one message

Our Waka is all about being on the journey as one - recognising who is in the waka with us, all the stuff we have onboard (good and bad), our experiences from previous journeys, and even the condition of the waka itself!

New Seas is about looking ahead to what’s changing. Right now, I think of environmental changes we see in the world, increasing change in digital spaces, and also the political changes with Aotearoa coming into an election year. Also as people working with young people, I think about the new seas our taiohi are constantly navigating in their own lives.

In a few months we will be releasing our call for applications.
I can’t wait to see how you all can lend a voice to the INVOLVE theme, using your work as ways to unpack Our Waka that we travelling in, and the New Seas we face.
