How INVOLVE is organised
The four organising members are formally committed to operating INVOLVE through a Memorandum of Joint Operation. This innovative collaboration between four sector based organisations enhances and empowers the expertise each holds to be spread across even more people who work with young people. A better connected sector ensures better developmental opportunities and outcomes for all young people in Aotearoa.
Ara Taiohi is the peak body for youth development in Aotearoa. We are a national membership based organisation with over 1000 personal and organisational members representing a diverse range of groups and practitioners that work with young people.
The New Zealand Youth Mentoring Network is a "charitable trust" who works alongside those that work with young people. We provide advice, support, access to best practice resources and professional development in Mentoring.
SYHPANZ is an organisation whose strengths lie in its membership network of Youth Health and Development Professionals across New Zealand with the ability to draw on this expertise.
The Collaborative Trust is committed to assisting the healthy development of young people, through:
Training the people who work with young people;
Undertaking and disseminating research and evaluation so that training and services can be based on evidence;
Informing and influencing policy and practice.
