Reunion?

“INVOLVE Reunion” has become the team’s fond nickname for the INVOLVE Conference that will run in 2021.

We are excited for INVOLVE 2021 to be a celebration as the entire youth sector gathers together once more - united in our passion for the rangatahi of Aotearoa, and no longer needing to stay physically distant!

When is it?

INVOLVE 2021 will be held on Monday 9 - Wednesday 11 August 2021

Where is it?

INVOLVE is returning to Wellington!
Pre-COVID, we were planning to host the 2020 conference in the capital, to build on the success of 2018. Staying in the same place twice in a row would help us solidify the conference’s kaupapa, vibe, and structure before we began touring around the motu.

Now, even more than before, the team will be leaning on what we experienced in 2018. We are stoked to announce will be back in the Michael Fowler Centre for INVOLVE 2021 Reunion.

In many ways, INVOLVE Reunion will be a continuation of what is started at INVOLVE Digital.

And, with all the change that Aotearoa has weathered recently, the theme still seems really relevant! We think that, come August 2021, the youth sector will have some amazing reflections on the New Seas they have navigated.

It is our hope, and our Plan A, that INVOLVE will go ahead in person on 9-11 August. However, 2020 has taught us that anything can happen and it can all change in an instant.

That is why we are also planning a digital stream of the 2021 conference. This stream is available as an option if you are unable to join us in Wellington. If it looks like we will be changing COVID levels close to August, then we will move the conference fully digital.

You don’t need to wait until next year to get in the 2021 waka!
